The Experimental Calibration Engine attempts to reflect emotions back to players

The Experimental Calibration Engine was a "prop game" used in conjunction with a LARP run in my Experimental Games class.

I was interested in exploring different image effects and embracing glitches and strange behavior that are unique to a procedural and computer generated environment.

This game was designed from the perspective of a student from 400 years in the future using time travel to return to the year 2016 and perform experiments on volunteers to investigate the relationship between games and technology and what that means for the human experience. The engine seeks to reflect emotional states back onto the player, but something happens when the experiment goes awry.
