Constructor was a game for my Experimental Games class.
For this project I was interested in how people can use a small set of tools to build and create structures that are personally reflective or pleasurable to create. I wanted to explore an open world model with little player restrictions, and giving them a way to meaningfully impact the world through creation.
I have found from this game especially that a lot of pleasure derived from games come in the simple call and response of clicking and watching something appear on screen. This game is an extreme example of this investigation.
